At McLean Farms, our mission revolves around unwavering dedication to animal welfare. This principle guides every aspect of our decision-making and propels our business endeavours, as we firmly believe that the well-being and contentment of our hens and animals take precedence in the minds of every team member.
Our commitment ensures conventional measures, as we diligently ensure the protection and comfort of all our animals. This includes the establishment of an expansive natural buffer zone, fostering biodiversity, and the provision of meticulously filtered and treated drinking water for our hens.
Complementing our ethos, our team comprises a full-time veterinarian and animal welfare officer. Notably, we’re currently funding research by one of our staff members, aimed at developing a groundbreaking vaccine for a recognised poultry ailment. In tandem, our internal quality department conducts thorough audits of our standards and policies, further bolstered by external assessments to ensure that our welfare benchmarks are consistently not only met but surpassed.
